1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Safado UK, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Safado UK.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Safado UK is not liable for any unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any breach or unauthorized use of your account.

4. The Service and features

Safado.UK is a modern social networking and dating platform designed exclusively for adults. Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where users can connect, chat, and form meaningful relationships.

Key Features

  • Discovery: Connect with others through distance-based matching, area search, and Map View (requires device location permission).
  • Messaging & Social Signals: Chat, send likes and invitations, and view social interactions. Optional read receipts available for users who enable them.
  • Voice Control: Hands-free in-app actions using microphone access (only active if you choose to enable it).
  • Verified Profiles: Optional or required age and identity verification features for enhanced safety and trust.
  • Multi-language Interface: Enjoy a user-friendly experience with multiple language options, unique sidebar navigation, and customizable settings.
  • Subscriptions: Choose from different plans offering various feature sets — including a premium, ad-free experience and a free, ad-supported version.

Feature Availability and Evolution

Safado.UK is an evolving platform, and our features and services may change over time as we improve the user experience, test new functionality, or comply with legal, technical, or operational requirements.

  • Beta and Experimental Features: Some features may be released in beta or experimental form and may be available only to certain users, regions, devices, or platforms.
  • Region- or Device-Limited Availability: Certain features may not be available in all locations or on all devices due to regulatory, technical, or operational constraints.
  • Temporary or Permanent Changes: We may modify, suspend, temporarily remove, or permanently discontinue any feature or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, where permitted by law.
  • No Guarantee of Availability: We do not guarantee that any specific feature, functionality, or service will always be available, uninterrupted, or maintained in its current form.
Note: Features may evolve over time. Some features might be released as beta versions or limited to specific regions or devices while under testing or gradual rollout.

5. Plans, pricing and trials

Safado.UK offers flexible subscription options so you can choose the experience that best fits your needs. Each plan provides access to different levels of functionality and benefits.

Available Plans

  • Free: Access to limited features. Ads may be displayed during use.
  • Try Out: An ad-free preview plan with limited upgrades and features, as described in the app.
  • Safado Pro (Paid): Unlocks premium features, including unlimited messages, read receipts, wider area search, and an ad-free experience. See the in-app description for the full list of benefits.

Pricing

Example pricing (as displayed in-app, subject to your region and currency):

  • USD 14.99 per month
  • USD 39.99 per 3 months
  • USD 119.99 per year

The final price you see in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store at checkout is definitive in your local currency and may include applicable taxes.

Free Trial

Where available, a 14-day free trial may be offered to eligible users. If you do not cancel your trial at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period, it will automatically convert into a paid subscription based on the plan you selected.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your device’s account settings (Apple or Google Play).

6. Billing, Renewals & Refunds

Safado.UK subscriptions are processed securely through trusted app store platforms. Please review the key points below regarding billing, renewals, and refund policies.
  • Payment Processing: All purchases are handled directly by Apple or Google. Safado.UK does not store full payment card details or sensitive financial information.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew in your device account settings at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
  • Manage or Cancel Anytime: You can manage, upgrade, or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store subscription settings at any time.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled at the discretion of Apple or Google, in accordance with their respective store policies. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
  • Price or Plan Changes: We may adjust subscription prices or plan features. Any such changes will apply from your next billing cycle after notice is provided, or as displayed in your app store at the time of renewal.

App Store Billing and Third-Party Beneficiaries

All purchases, subscriptions, and in-app payments made through Safado.UK are processed exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable. Safado.UK does not directly process payments or store full payment card details.

Pricing, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the policies of the applicable app store. Any refund requests must be submitted directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

You acknowledge and agree that the Apple App Store and Google Play Store are independent third-party platforms and that their policies, purchase confirmations, and refund decisions override any in-app descriptions, expectations, or communications provided by Safado.UK.

Apple Inc. and Google LLC (and their respective subsidiaries) are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent that they relate to payments, subscriptions, and in-app purchases. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple and Google shall have the right to enforce these provisions against you as third-party beneficiaries.

App Store Billing and Third-Party Beneficiaries

All purchases, subscriptions, and in-app payments made through Safado.UK are processed exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable. Safado.UK does not directly process payments or store full payment card details.

7. Verification (Veriff) – Age & Identity Checks

To ensure that Safado.UK remains an 18+ community and a trusted environment, we may ask users to complete age and identity verification using a secure, third-party provider such as Veriff.

Verification Process

  • You are required to provide accurate and truthful information during the verification process.
  • Verification steps may include selfie and liveness checks and capturing an ID document (e.g., passport, driver’s license, or national ID).
  • We receive only the verification outcome (pass/fail/flags) and limited metadata necessary for trust and safety purposes.
  • Raw ID images, biometric templates, and document data are securely handled and stored by Veriff in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Failure or Refusal to Verify

  • If verification is required (for legal, safety, or app store compliance reasons) and you refuse or fail to complete it, Safado.UK may:
    • Restrict access to certain features;
    • Temporarily suspend your account; or
    • Permanently close the account to maintain platform integrity.

Important Note

Verification helps build trust and safety within the community but does not guarantee that every user is who they claim to be. We encourage all members to act with caution, avoid sharing sensitive personal information, and report any suspicious activity immediately.

8. Use of Call Feature

Safado UK offers an in-app voice call feature. By using this functionality:

You consent to the use of your device’s microphone for the duration of the call.

We do not record or store any call audio. Only limited metadata (such as call duration, timestamps, and participants) is collected for technical and analytical purposes.

You must not record calls without the explicit consent of all parties involved.

You agree not to use the call feature to harass, threaten, solicit illegal activity, or engage in any non-consensual or inappropriate behavior.

Safado UK reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to the call feature in cases of abuse or misuse.

9. Safado Connection (Live Community Sessions)

Safado Connection enables interactive live community sessions hosted by users, allowing real-time engagement and shared experiences within the Safado.UK platform.

Key Features

  • Users can host live interactive community sessions.
  • Nearby users can instantly discover and join available live sessions.
  • Real-time group chat with the host and other participants during sessions.
  • Fully interactive multi-user experience designed to increase engagement and time spent within the app.

Monetization Model

  • Each user may receive a limited number of free hosting sessions (for example, one or two free sessions, as indicated within the app).
  • Once the free allowance is exhausted, hosting Safado Connection sessions may require payment.
  • Hosting fees may be paid using Safado Coins or through direct in-app purchases, as displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

Rules and Responsibilities

  • Hosts are fully responsible for the content and behavior within their sessions and must comply with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws.
  • It is strictly prohibited to host sessions containing illegal content, non-consensual material, child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), harassment, hate speech, or incitement to violence.
  • Safado.UK reserves the right to remove any session, restrict participation, or suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion to protect users, enforce safety, or comply with legal, App Store, or Play Store requirements.
  • Hosting fees and Safado Coins used to start a session are generally non-refundable once the session begins, except where required by local law or applicable App Store or Play Store policies.

Hosting Liability for Live Community Sessions

Safado.UK allows users to host live community sessions and interactive events within the platform. Users who initiate or host a live session (“Hosts”) assume full responsibility for the content, conduct, and behaviour that occurs during their sessions.

Host Responsibilities

Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring that all content, communications, and interactions within their live sessions comply with these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws. Safado.UK does not pre-screen, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any content shared during live sessions.

Limitation of Safado.UK Responsibility

Safado.UK is not responsible or liable for any content, statements, actions, or omissions by Hosts or participants during live sessions, whether such sessions are public or private, live or recorded by users.

Enforcement and Immediate Removal

Safado.UK reserves the right, but does not have an obligation, to monitor live sessions and may remove, suspend, restrict, or terminate any live session or related account immediately and without prior notice if, in our sole discretion:
  • The session violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law;
  • The session poses a risk to user safety or platform integrity;
  • Action is required to comply with legal, regulatory, or app store obligations.
Any fees, Safado Coins, or other in-app purchases used to host or participate in a session are generally non-refundable once the session has started, except where required by law or applicable app store policies.

Safado Coins and Hosting Refund Policy

Safado Coins and hosting-related purchases are digital goods used to unlock features and services within the Safado.UK platform. By purchasing or using Safado Coins or paying hosting fees, you acknowledge and agree to the refund terms set out below.

Non-Refundability of Safado Coins

Safado Coins are non-refundable once purchased or spent. Coins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or refunded for real-world currency, except where a refund is required by applicable law or granted by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store under their respective policies.

Hosting Fees for Live Sessions

Any fees or Safado Coins used to create, host, or participate in live community sessions are non-refundable once the session has started.

This applies regardless of whether the session ends early, is interrupted, or participation is lower than expected.

Legal and App Store Exceptions

Refunds may be issued only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Where required by mandatory consumer protection laws;
  • Where a refund is approved or processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their policies.

Safado.UK does not independently process refunds for Coins or hosting fees and does not guarantee that a refund will be granted outside of these circumstances.

10. Acceptable use and community rules

By using Safado.UK, you agree to engage with others lawfully, respectfully, and responsibly. To maintain a safe and trustworthy community, users must follow these standards of conduct.

Prohibited Behavior

The following actions are strictly prohibited and may result in moderation, restriction, suspension, or termination of your account:
  • Illegal Activities: Engaging in or promoting any unlawful behavior or violating the rights of others.
  • Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation (CSAE): Absolutely zero tolerance for any CSAE-related content or conduct.
  • Non-Consensual or Harmful Content: Sharing or promoting harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or incitement to violence.
  • Impersonation & Fraud: Impersonating others, conducting scams, phishing attempts, or distributing spam.
  • Malicious or Technical Abuse: Uploading or distributing malware, attempting reverse engineering, or interfering with app functionality.
  • Scraping or Data Harvesting: Collecting data in bulk, using bots, or creating unauthorized mirror or clone services.
  • Bypassing Safety Measures: Attempting to disable or evade moderation tools, location accuracy features, or engaging in deceptive location manipulation intended to harm or mislead others.

Enforcement

Safado.UK reserves the right to moderate, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts if we believe a user has violated these terms or endangered others.

Expanded Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the behaviours listed above, the following actions are strictly prohibited on Safado.UK and may result in immediate moderation, suspension, or permanent termination of your account:
  • Abuse in Live Sessions: Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or otherwise abusing users during live community sessions, including disruptive behaviour by hosts or participants.
  • Misuse of Safado Coins: Attempting to exploit, manipulate, transfer, sell, or misuse Safado Coins, including fraud, chargeback abuse, or using Coins in ways not intended or permitted by the platform.
  • Illegal or Harmful Live Content: Hosting, sharing, or promoting live session content that is illegal, non-consensual, deceptive, violent, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful, including any content involving minors.
  • Misuse of Real-Time Communication Features: Using voice or video calls or other real-time communication tools to harass, scam, record without consent, solicit illegal activity, or violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.
Safado.UK reserves the right to take immediate enforcement action, including removing content, terminating live sessions, restricting access to features, or suspending or permanently banning accounts, without prior notice where required to protect users, platform integrity, or legal compliance.

Survivability of Terms

Upon termination, suspension, or deletion of your Safado.UK account for any reason, certain provisions of these Terms shall survive and continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Without limitation, the following sections and obligations shall survive termination:

  • User Content Licence – to the extent necessary for legal, safety, compliance, dispute resolution, backup, and record-keeping purposes;
  • Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability – including any caps on liability and exclusions of damages;
  • Dispute Resolution and Governing Law – including jurisdiction and applicable law provisions;
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance – including obligations to cooperate with law enforcement and comply with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Any other provisions which by their nature are intended to survive termination.
Our priority is to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members of the Safado community.

11. Safado Coins (Virtual Currency)

Safado Coins are the in-app virtual currency used within Safado.UK to unlock premium features, enhancements, and exclusive experiences.

Use Cases

  • Unlock premium and advanced tools made available in the app from time to time.
  • Pay hosting fees for Safado Connection live sessions after any free hosting allowance has been used.
  • Boost profile visibility to reach a wider audience.
  • Purchase upgrades, enhancements, and exclusive perks within the app.

Nature of Safado Coins

  • Safado Coins constitute a limited, revocable licence to access certain digital features within Safado.UK and do not represent money, a bank balance, or legal tender.
  • Safado Coins cannot be exchanged for cash or used outside the app, unless an in-app gifting or transfer feature between users is explicitly provided by us.
  • All Safado Coin purchases are generally final and non-refundable once completed, except where a refund is granted under applicable App Store or Play Store policies or where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
  • Safado.UK reserves the right to adjust Coin balances or revoke Safado Coins in cases of fraud, chargebacks, system abuse, or technical errors.

12. Use of In-App Voice and Video Calls

Safado.UK provides in-app voice and video call features that allow users to communicate in real time. These features are powered by secure third-party real-time communication (RTC) service providers, such as ZegoCloud, to ensure reliable and high-quality connections.

Permissions and Access

By using the voice or video call features, you consent to the temporary access of the following device permissions for the duration of the call:
  • Microphone – required to transmit audio during voice or video calls.
  • Camera – required to transmit video during video calls.
These permissions are only active while the call is in progress. You may disable these permissions at any time through your device settings; however, doing so may limit or prevent the use of call features.

Recording and Data Handling

Safado.UK does not routinely record or store the audio or video content of voice or video calls. We collect only limited call-related metadata, such as call duration, timestamps, technical quality indicators, and participating user identifiers, solely for purposes including:
  • Service delivery and technical support
  • Quality improvement and performance monitoring
  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection
All metadata processing is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibilities

You must not record voice or video calls without the explicit consent of all participants, where required by applicable law. You agree not to use the voice or video call features to:
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users;
  • Engage in illegal, non-consensual, or abusive behaviour;
  • Share content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.

Enforcement

Safado.UK reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to voice and video call features, or take other appropriate action, in cases of misuse, abuse, or suspected violations of these Terms or our safety policies.

13. Your content and our license

You retain full ownership and responsibility for the content you create, upload, or share on Safado.UK. However, to enable us to operate and improve the platform, you grant us limited usage rights as outlined below.

License Grant

By submitting or posting content on Safado.UK, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to:

  • Host, store, and display your content;
  • Use, reproduce, and adapt it for technical and feature-related purposes;
  • Modify, publish, or translate it (e.g., for multi-language display);
  • Create derivative works for operational or promotional uses;
  • Distribute, publicly perform, or display your content as needed to provide and promote the Service.

This license exists solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and promoting the Service. It ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except in the following circumstances:

  • The content has been shared with other users who have not deleted it.
  • We are required to retain it temporarily for legal, regulatory, or safety reasons.

Your Responsibilities

  • You confirm that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to grant this license to Safado.UK.
  • You also confirm that your content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, and that it complies with all applicable laws and community guidelines.

This policy ensures you keep ownership of your content while allowing Safado.UK to function efficiently and safely for all users.

14. Location, maps and third parties

Certain Safado.UK features require access to specific device permissions or rely on third-party service providers. These are essential for providing key functionalities such as maps, voice commands, and secure payments.

Device Permissions

  • Location: Used for Map View, distance-based discovery, and area search. You can disable location permissions in your device settings; however, some features (such as nearby search) will not function properly without it.
  • Microphone (Voice Control): Accessed only when you enable Voice Control to process voice commands via speech-to-text technology.

Third-Party Services

  • Mapbox: We use Mapbox to display maps, deliver map tiles, and provide geocoding and place search features. Mapbox may process technical and usage data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Speech-to-Text Providers: Used to convert your spoken commands into text when using Voice Control. Audio is processed securely and not stored beyond what is necessary to complete your request.
  • App Stores & Payment Processors: Apple App Store and Google Play handle billing, entitlement checks, subscription renewals, and refund processing under their respective terms.

Third-Party Real-Time Communication Providers

Safado.UK uses trusted third-party real-time communication (RTC) service providers, such as ZegoCloud, to enable in-app voice and video calls and other real-time communication features. These providers supply the underlying infrastructure required to transmit audio and video streams securely between users.

Processing of Audio and Video Streams

When you use in-app voice or video call features, your audio and video streams are transmitted and processed in real time by our RTC providers for the sole purpose of delivering the communication service. Safado.UK does not routinely record or store the content of voice or video communications. However, limited technical and usage metadata (such as connection quality, timestamps, call duration, and participant identifiers) may be processed by Safado.UK and/or its RTC providers to ensure service reliability, security, and performance.

Privacy and Data Protection

Any personal data processed in connection with real-time communication features is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable privacy policies of our third-party providers. Users are encouraged to review the privacy practices of these providers to understand how data is processed within their systems.

Limitation of Responsibility

While Safado.UK works with reputable RTC providers and takes reasonable steps to ensure a secure communication experience, we do not control the underlying third-party infrastructure and cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure transmissions. Safado.UK shall not be liable for any interruptions, delays, quality issues, data loss, or failures arising from the use or performance of third-party real-time communication services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Device Permissions and Access

Certain Safado.UK features require access to specific device permissions in order to function correctly. These permissions are requested only when necessary and can be managed at any time through your device settings.

Camera Permission

Camera access may be required to enable the following features:

  • Uploading or capturing profile photos and media;
  • Age and identity verification processes (such as selfie and liveness checks);
  • Participation in in-app video calls and live communication features.

Microphone Permission

Microphone access may be required for:

  • In-app voice calls and video calls;
  • Voice control or speech-to-text features, where enabled by you;
  • Live community sessions or other real-time communication features.

Use and Control of Permissions

Permissions are used solely for the purpose of providing the relevant features and are active only when those features are in use. Safado.UK does not continuously access your camera or microphone outside of these contexts.

You may disable or revoke camera or microphone permissions at any time via your device settings. However, doing so may result in limited functionality or prevent access to certain features, including photo uploads, verification, voice or video calls, and live sessions.

Consequences of Disabling Permissions

If required permissions are disabled, Safado.UK may:

  • Restrict access to specific features;
  • Prevent the use of voice or video communication tools;
  • Limit participation in verification or live session features.

Safado.UK shall not be responsible for any reduced functionality or inability to access features resulting from disabled or revoked device permissions.

Important: Each third-party provider operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. We encourage you to review these documents to understand how your data may be processed by their systems. Disabling certain permissions or declining third-party integrations may limit access to some Safado.UK features.

15. Safety, reporting and enforcement

Safado.UK is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful community. We encourage all users to stay vigilant and report any behavior or content that violates our policies or poses a risk to safety.

Reporting Issues

  • In-App Reporting: You can report users or content directly within the app using the built-in reporting tools.
  • Email: Contact us at admin@safado.uk for any safety concerns or technical issues.
    This inbox also serves as our dedicated child-safety contact channel.

Law Enforcement Cooperation

We may cooperate with law enforcement authorities and preserve relevant account or content information when required by law or to protect users’ safety.

Verified Profiles & Caution

Verified Profiles are designed to enhance community trust by confirming identity or age. However, verification does not guarantee user behavior or intentions. We urge all members to:

  • Exercise caution when sharing personal details.
  • Arrange first meetings in public spaces.
  • Inform a friend or family member when meeting someone new.

Your safety is our top priority, and community awareness is an essential part of keeping Safado.UK a secure platform for everyone.

16. Intellectual property of Safado

The Safado.UK Service, including but not limited to its logos, graphics, software, user interface, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Safado UK LTD or its respective licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property and trademark laws.

Except for your own content and the limited rights expressly granted to you under these Terms, no license or ownership rights are transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by Safado.UK.

Restrictions

You agree that you will not, without prior written consent from Safado.UK:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service or its content;
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the Service or its software;
  • Sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize any part of the Service;
  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
  • Use any Safado.UK trademarks, branding, or logos without express authorization.

Safado.UK retains full ownership of its intellectual property to ensure the integrity, security, and quality of the platform experience.

17. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes;

Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users;

Post or transmit harmful, explicit, or offensive content;

Use bots or other automated tools to access or interact with the platform;

Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;

Share or distribute any content involving minors, non-consensual acts, or content violating laws or community guidelines.

18+ Only – Zero Tolerance for Illegal Content

By using Safado.UK, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use adult-oriented services. Safado.UK is a platform exclusively for adults. No individuals under the age of 18 are permitted to register, access, or use our services.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any user found engaging in, sharing, or uploading such content will be immediately banned and reported to law enforcement.

All users are responsible for ensuring their content complies with the law and does not involve minors, non-consensual acts, or any form of illegal material. This policy is strictly enforced.

19. Content Guidelines
